Franchise history

The franchise began in 1960 as the Dallas Texans of the AFL, moved to Kansas City in 1963, and became the Chiefs. They won Super Bowl IV behind quarterback Len Dawson, then built a modern dynasty in the Patrick Mahomes era with multiple Super Bowl titles. Home games are played at Arrowhead Stadium, one of the loudest venues in sports.
